Libro Discussion, any suggestions? Empty Libro Discussion, any suggestions?

Post  Ken Sun Apr 27, 2008 10:20 am

I would like to start a novel in Spanish, and maybe get a discussion going on the forum. Any thoughts about authors, specific books? Looking to improve my vocabulary but would also like to enjoy the reading, so nothing too flowery or complicated. I would like to read an author that reflects the culture and values of the region. What would a list of Important 20th century novelists of Latin America look like? Thanks in advance. Smile

You should read Mario Benedetti's books, it's an Uruguayan writer who writes novels, poetry.
